See the first trailer for Akiva Goldsman’s ‘Winter’s Tale,’ starring Colin Farrell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Will Smith, in a fantastical, supernatural and romantic epic. The highly anticipated screen adaptation was written, directed and co-produced by Akiva Goldsman who won an Oscar for his screenplay for ‘A Beautiful Mind.’ He makes his directorial debut with the upcoming movie which is based on the critically acclaimed literary novel of the same title by Mark Helprin which was published in 1983. ‘Winter’s Tale’ is a story told on a grand scale in a New York City of an imagined past, the early 20th century, and present day; a world similar to our own but strikingly different. It is mythic, fantastical, with time travel accepted as a given, as is a character who happens to be a white horse who acts as a protector and guardian angel.
